To display an image of excellence and innovation as well as her spirit of integral service, the NAIF held a public selection for logo design. The winner combines the shape of Taiwan with three main species of farm animals: swine, fowl and cattle. It symbolizes our ambition to assist and promote the animal industry. The red color in this logo represents enthusiasm and courage. Its special meaning is NAIF'S determination to balance production and marketing and to improve the quality of animal products. The logo also gives impression of energy and action; and the shape of Taiwan represents Taiwan's readiness to face the changes accompanying our admission to the WTO.
